Land Survey for Silica Sand Resource Assessment

In several areas we have served, laboratory results confirm that silica sand deposits exhibit high

SiO2 content, ranging from 97.9% to 99.8%, even reaching 99.9%,

with Fe2O3 content of less than 120 ppm.

These deposits are primarily located in Central Kalimantan Province, particularly in the regions of Kapuas, Barito, and Kota Waringin, which show great potential for silica sand resources.

With a length of 1143 km, The Kapuas is not only the longest river in Indonesia, but also one of the most important transport routes on the island of Borneo, especially in the province of West Kalimantan. The Barito River is one of the longest and most important rivers on the Indonesian island of Borneo, more precisely in the province of Kalimantan. It plays a crucial role for the local population, who have used it as an important transport route for centuries.

SiO2 [ Silica sand or Quartzsand ]

According to sources from the local mineralogical department, the quartz sand coming from Central Kalimantan is of excellent quality, having highlevels of SiO2 (silicon dioxide) and very low levels of Fe2O3 (iron trioxide), a valuable resource.

These high qualities make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications in various industries.

The sampling we did to get pure results, we dug manually to a depth of 4 metres. It is certain that the presence of quartz sand will certainly be obtained deeper to cover 12 metres.

The topographic characteristic of Central Kalimantan is a mature lowland region with several scattered highland areas along the 11 main rivers that traverse the area from north to south (Barito River,Kapuas River, Kahayan River, Mentaya River, Barito River,Kapuas River). These rivers mostly have wide floodplains and a series of extensive meanders.
